Interesting Graphs and Functions.
A long time ago, I found my father's CRC Math Tables book and was fascinated by the graphs pictured within it. I spent a lot of time looking at the properties of square numbers, since I could understand that. It wasn't until I got older that I learned how parametric equations and the like worked.
The Famous Curves Index lists all the famous curves. The Famous Curves Applet Index contains Java Applets for all these curves, along with source code. Very nice!
A Visual Dictionary of Special Plane Curves by Xah Lee also has a nice selection of curves.
Paul Bourke's Geometry
site is just a piece of his larger site, but provides many nice examples
of graphs.
